Saye gets long jail sentence

Montgomery County Judge William R. Carpenter Tuesday sentenced Saye, a 30-year-old machine operator, to 25 years to 62 years in a state prison for the death and destruction Saye caused by getting behind the wheel of his car while drunk and high on marijuana.

“There was no question that innocent and law-abiding people would be hurt that night,” said Carpenter. “The only question was when, how many and how serious.”
